Welcome back to the new school year! Are you all excited to be getting your school supplies? I know I am! However, this year I've realized that there is one school supply that I really dislike: bookmarks. Bookmarks are commonly sticks of card with fancy designs that you can pop in your books to hold your place. For a slightly disorganized person like me, who possesses a crowded bag that crushes every other unsturdy thing in it and who often drops things, this just doesn't do. I often find myself needing to use a paper clip to fasten my bookmark to my current page. Do you ever have the same problem? Well, fear not! I'm here to help. What you'll need for this craft: - Cardstock or construction paper - Pen/pencil - Scissors - Glue/staples - Ruler Optional Supplies: - Markers - Envelopes
This month I'll be teaching you how to make a simple craft. The fun of this one is truly in using it rather than in making it, in my opinion. All you're going to need is a piece of paper - regular printer paper or ruled paper will work, though I recommend a single piece of newspaper as I find it gives you the best results. I encourage you to experiment with all kinds of paper, though! The one thing I will advise you to stay away from is cardstock or construction paper - for this craft you want thin, rectangular paper. Trust me. Now let's end this schoolyear off with a bang, shall we ;)? Take your paper and lay it out flat. Take the top of your page and fold it down. Then, unfold that and fold the paper from one side to the other.
by Destri Weasley It’s practically a rite of passage to sneak into the kitchens and have a midnight snack at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Thankfully, I’m here to help you out! Uhm… this article is purely tips that I heard from confidential sources… not like I’ve sneaked into the kitchens… So, onto the article!
